The Golden Age Arc culminates in a desperate siege where Griffith is captured by the Midland nobility. After enduring torture, he is rescued by Guts and Casca but ultimately abandons his humanity to secure his dream. The Eclipse descends upon them, trapping the Band of the Hawk in a metaphysical dimension where time stands still.
